Data Management & Analysis Core

Purpose:
To collaborate with investigators concerning data management needs and statistical analysis approaches.

Services:
The services provided by the CSCF include:

  1. Conduct monthly data analysis seminars illustrating recent developments and applications in research methodology and statistical analysis.
  2. Assist investigators with applications for extramural funding by generating power estimates and developing appropriate analytic approaches for testing study hypotheses.
  3. Provide resources and expertise on data entry and data management systems including teleform data entry methods and database design.
  4. Collaborate with investigators on research design issues, modern statistical analysis procedures, and multivariate modeling approaches.

Opportunities for Faculty Involvement:
Faculty, postdoctoral fellows, and student trainees are encouraged to utilize our services and to contribute relevant expertise to the DMAC. Our monthly seminars are scheduled to coincide with the CFA Scientific Seminar Series, making attendance and participation convenient for those who also attend the Scientific Seminar.
