Summary:
New Horizons at UAB
is a community group of men and women of retirement age that organizes lectures
and other activities centered around issues important to the aging community, as
well as general interest topics.
Fees:
- Membership for One Term - $75 for individual; $150 for a couple
- Annual Memberships Available Only in the Fall: $200 for individual; $350 for a couple
Description:
New Horizons at UAB schedules meetings on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings
for three eight week periods each year. These periods commence in September, January
and March. They also hold an open "Friday Forum" at 9:30 a.m. every Friday during
the year. Guest speakers are invited to cover a very wide range of topics that are
of interest to all members.
