Summary:
The Board of Advocacy assist with planning the UAB Center for Aging annual reception,
provide leadership for the annual fund campaign, and plan other development initiatives.
The Board meets with the Center leadership throughout the year to focus on community
outreach and fundraising activities. A list of members can be found at
Board Members.
Opportunities for involvement:
People who are interested in the UAB Center for Aging and its programs can volunteer
for a potential appointment on the board of advocacy or make suggestions to the
board regarding new ideas for generating community support for the Center for Aging.
The board will select new members to complement the skills and abilities of other
board members.
