We grow your cells so you can do research

Located in the UAB Department of Biology we assist students and faculty in their cell culture needs.  We have two independent tissue culture rooms and a digital inverted phase microscope that is capable of photographing your living cells.  The facility is managed by Dr. Mitchell Pate and its Co-directors are Drs. Trygve Tollefsbol and William Grizzle.  Dr. Michael Bertram is our consultant for senescence studies.
